Pastor's Message
Dear Friends in Christ,

Gifted and Grateful! We're going to ponder this theme this fall as we gather for worship, and Christian education, and fellowship, and service.

As people of God, we are gifted in many ways, individually and together. We have gifts of faith, compassion, love, service, generosity, leadership, hope, imagination and much more! We have the gifts of young people, and seniors, and youth, and adults, and long-time members and new members. And we have resources of time, talents, possessions, as well as partners in ministry (like our church camps, colleges, neighboring congregations, seminaries.).

We'll keep noting and asking this fall: How are we gifted? so that we can also consider How are we grateful? And how can we, individually and together, live lives of thanksgiving and gratitude?

As Pete Kutzora notes in the article below, we really do want to include everyone in a wonderful study entitled: Gifted and Grateful. You may not know right now how you'll fit that in to your schedule, or what to expect. I'm pretty sure we'll find this brief study to be something for which we are quite grateful! It will bring us closer to God, the Giver of every good gift! And it will draw us closer to each other, as we share our gifts and our gratitude.

Quoting St. Paul echoing, "I am thankful/grateful for your partnership in the Gospel from the first day until now!" (Philippians 1:5)
