Pastor Paul has chosen 40 readings
for the 40 days of Lent. These readings give a broad overview of the
Bible's themes and teachings. (For simplicity, they're listed by chapters.
If there's no chapter indicated, read the whole book. They're short!)
If you are familiar with a reading, try to read as if seeing it for the
first time. Some readings will be new to you. Consider keeping a small
journal of questions and insights. Also consider highlighting them in your
Bible for future reference.
May the Spirit guide your heart and mind as you dig deeper into
scripture! If you'd like to receive a daily email devotion on these
readings, email
